Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and regulations carefully before taking admission to Shashi Computer Institute. These rules are designed to maintain a high standard of education, discipline, safety, and smooth operation of the campus.

how_to_reg 1. Admission

  • Admission is confirmed only after payment of the registration fee and submission of all required documents.
  • Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Admission may be cancelled if incorrect information or forged documents are submitted.
  • The institute reserves the right to accept or reject any admission application without assigning a reason.

payments 2. Fee Payment

  • Course fees must be paid on or before the due date.
  • Late payment will attract a late fee/fine as decided by the institute.
  • Students with pending fees may not be allowed to attend classes.
  • The institute may suspend access to practical labs, examinations, and certificates until all dues are cleared.
  • Fees once paid are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or the institute's written refund policy.
  • Fees can only be paid through approved payment methods.

calendar_today 3. Attendance

  • Students must maintain regular attendance.
  • Every absence should be informed in advance through phone, WhatsApp, email, or the institute office.
  • Students are responsible for covering any lessons missed due to absence.
  • Poor attendance may affect eligibility for assessments, practical sessions, examinations, or certification.

edit_calendar 4. Leave Policy

  • Leave requests should be submitted before the class whenever possible.
  • Medical leave may require supporting documents.
  • Emergency leave should be informed as soon as possible.
  • Approved leave does not automatically extend the course duration.

warning 5. Uninformed Absence

  • More than five (5) consecutive or total absences without informing the institute may result in suspension of registration.
  • Suspended registration can be reactivated only after:
    • Payment of the prescribed reactivation fine.
    • Clearance of all pending dues.
    • Approval from the institute management.
  • Repeated violations may result in cancellation of admission.

  • Batch preference is subject to seat availability.
  • The institute may change class timings, faculty, or batches whenever necessary.
  • Batch transfer requests are subject to approval.

timer 7. Course Duration

  • Every course has a fixed duration.
  • The institute is not responsible for delays caused by the student's irregular attendance.
  • Students failing to complete the course within the allotted period may be required to pay extension charges.

computer 8. Practical Classes

  • Practical sessions are compulsory wherever applicable.
  • Students must follow laboratory rules and instructor guidelines.
  • Damaging institute equipment intentionally or through negligence may result in compensation charges.

gavel 9. Classroom Discipline

Students must:

  • Respect teachers and staff.
  • Maintain proper classroom discipline.
  • Avoid disturbing other students.
  • Keep mobile phones on silent mode.
  • Not consume tobacco, alcohol, or prohibited substances within institute premises.
  • Wear decent and appropriate clothing.

block 10. Prohibited Activities

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Misbehavior with faculty or staff.
  • Fighting or threatening other students.
  • Cheating during examinations.
  • Damaging institute property.
  • Recording classes without permission.
  • Sharing institute study material illegally.
  • Using abusive or offensive language.

Violation may result in suspension or permanent termination.

  • Study material is provided only for enrolled students.
  • Copying, reselling, uploading, or distributing institute material without written permission is prohibited.
  • Copyright of all study material belongs to the institute.

  • Students must appear for examinations on the scheduled date.
  • Re-examinations may attract additional charges.
  • Malpractice during examinations may result in disqualification.

Certificates will be issued only if:

  • All course fees are fully paid.
  • Attendance requirements are fulfilled.
  • Practical work is completed.
  • The student successfully passes the required examinations or assessments.
  • Any institute property borrowed has been returned.

badge 14. Identity Card

  • Students must carry their Institute ID Card while on campus.
  • Duplicate ID cards will be issued only after payment of the prescribed fee.

work 15. Placement Assistance

  • Placement assistance, if offered, is only a support service and does not guarantee employment.
  • Final hiring decisions are made solely by employers.

  • Online classes should not be recorded without permission.
  • Login credentials must not be shared.
  • Unauthorized access to institute systems is prohibited.

card_travel 17. Property & Personal Belongings

  • Students are responsible for their own belongings.
  • The institute is not liable for loss or theft of personal items.

photo_camera 18. Photography & Media

  • The institute may use photographs or videos taken during classes, workshops, events, or certificate ceremonies for promotional purposes unless the student submits a written objection.

beach_access 19. Holidays

  • The institute will observe holidays as per its academic calendar.
  • Extra classes may be conducted to compensate for holidays or missed sessions.

cancel 20. Course Cancellation

  • The institute reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, merge, or cancel any batch due to insufficient admissions or unforeseen circumstances.

groups 21. Behaviour with Staff

  • Students and parents must communicate respectfully with institute staff.
  • Any abusive, threatening, or defamatory behaviour may lead to disciplinary action.

apartment 22. Institute Property

  • Any damage caused to furniture, computers, projectors, books, laboratory equipment, or other institute property shall be recovered from the responsible student.

health_and_safety 23. Safety

  • Students must follow all safety instructions issued by the institute.
  • The institute shall not be responsible for accidents resulting from negligence or failure to follow safety guidelines.

policy 24. Rules & Amendments

  • The institute reserves the right to modify its rules, fee structure, schedules, policies, or course content at any time.
  • Students will be informed of major policy changes through official communication channels.

balance 25. Jurisdiction

  • Any dispute arising in connection with admission or services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts where the institute is located.

assignment_turned_in Student Declaration

By taking admission to Shashi Institute, the student (and parent/guardian, where applicable) confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by all institute rules, regulations, policies, and future amendments issued by the institute.
